We serve adults with severe mental illness, primarily thought and mood disorders, through a dynamic day treatment and residential program in a milieu setting with a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Directly supervise and support Operations Manager, Program Manager, Social Workers to ensure compliance with County contracts to execute the mission of the program (including hiring, training, performance evaluations and termination) Work with Operations Manager, Program Manager, and Social Workers on professional growth and development and consistently meet with them to ensure progress toward annual program goals, document on-going progress of goals and provide technical assistance to ensure goals are met Ensures that ownership is fully informed on the condition of the programs and all important factors influencing it Conducts site visits to licensed facilities and ILS facilities Responsible for monitoring the referrals, retention, and discharge of all clients and that census is achieved/maintained Create and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures as well as alignment with the company's guiding principles Review SIR's and conduct internal investigations for client abuse allegations or incidents that are serious in nature such as an injury from a restraint, fall, and/or health related hospitalization Attend annual licensing and County audits, unannounced visits, and/or investigation visits Communicate with County and Licensing regarding any concerns, and/or preventive actions Monitors compliance of policies and associated state regulations and laws (Title 22/County) Work with management in evaluating and responding to changing California legislation and directives ensuring safety and compliance measures are met Attend outside meetings with community and trainings to stay updated and bring best practices to our organization Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, and community partners Review all intake packets and assess for placement potential.
Manage all placements and public and private wait lists Collaborate with the psychiatrist/Medical Director and other treating professionals Coordinate with placement agencies, case managers and families Review client treatment plans Oversee program budgeting and financial management Skills:
Strong relationship management skills to build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders Experience in program development, including designing and implementing new initiatives Proven ability to supervise and lead a team of employees Knowledge of working with individuals with behavioral health needs Strong administrative skills, including record keeping and documentation Budgeting skills to effectively manage program finances Background in social work or related field is preferred Excellent program management skills, including planning, organizing, and evaluating programs.
As a Program Director, you will play a critical role in overseeing the development and implementation of our programs.
You will be responsible for managing a team of dedicated staff members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals with behavioral health needs.
Your strong relationship management skills will be essential in building partnerships with clients, families, and community partners.
Additionally, your administrative skills will be crucial in managing program budgets and ensuring compliance with regulations.
